NY Times features R2R in "Spare Times Around Town"

The New York Times listed the River to River Festival as a top event around town in their "Spare Times" section.  The free monthlong cultural festival at various locations in Lower Manhattan will open on Sunday with a music marathon presented by Bang on a Can at the World Financial Center, 220 Vesey Street.  Other events this week include a screening of “Desperately Seeking Susan” on Monday at 8 p.m. at the Elevated Acre, 55 Water Street; a folk concert on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at the World Financial Center; and a jazz show on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Castle Clinton National Monument in Battery Park.  The festival, Initiated by a group of cultural organizations, is led by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
